Recently we’ve started to share the hottest dance music with you on Spotify, and now we proudly announce that our first dance music compilation: We Want EDM Volume 1 is out now and available on Beatport! We have done our upmost best to select the best tracks of the present moment with artists who are rocking the EDMscene! Featured artists on this compilation are:
Walter Vooys
Walter Vooys is born and raised in The Netherlands but gets his influences from Latin and UK house music. After being a Dj for many years in the Dutch clubs Walter has released his own album called ‘Soul Of House‘ on Twisted Shuffle Records in 2015. It is one of those compilations you just want to hear from start till finish, the strength of this 12 tracker is that Walter Vooys takes you on a journey across all important genres in Dance music. Techno, Deep-House, Tech-House and of course classic House music can be heard through-out this massive 12 tracker!
On We Want EDM Volume 1 you can also find a track of Walter which is sharing the same name as his album ‘Soul of House’. It is a song with a catchy African vocal driven by a sexy sax ready to fill the dancefloor!

Yves V
The enthusiasm that emanates from Yves V, who debuted in this years DJ Mag Top 100 poll at #55, continues to burn with the stellar magnitude of a supernova. Over the course of his career Yves V has risen to international standing amongst his peers and global dance fans, as a producer and DJ of high acclaim. Whilst his music now fills the playlists of the biggest DJs on the planet, his name can also be found listed on billings for some of the most prestigious parties in the world.
John Deviate
John Deviate literally grew up with music, at a young age he was already sharing his favourite music with others and soon John started producing and mixing music.
During his youth John got influenced by the music of Tiësto and Dune. In 2015 multiple solo tracks have been released on Housepital Records and Royal Ravers. John also made remixes for Bas Kunnen his X-ceptional Music label.
Besides the house music releases John got his solo chill-out album ‘Spurious – Forever‘ released on ADSR Records which made it to the first position on the Beatport Chill-out Charts!
For 2016 John is focussing on gigs and quality releases for both, Spurious and John Deviate.
EDX
Over the past few years, EDX a.k.a. Maurizio Colella has made a name for himself in the international EDM scene, headlining the world’s finest clubs and festivals to crowds in excess of 60,000 – from Miami to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, São Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, Taipei, all the way to Sydney. The chart topping Switzerland-based DJ/Producer has worked with some of the biggest names in music including Axwell, Benny Benassi, Kelis, Deadmau5, Armand Van Helden, Bob Sinclar, Kool & The Gang, Kaskade, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello of the Swedish House Mafia, Dubfire and many others. His remixes have been consistently featured on various DJ charts such as the DMC Buzz, Cool Cuts and Beatport and was even ranked in the TOP 3 of Beatport’s Best Progressive House Artist alongside Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz.
Firebeatz
Firebeatz is a Dutch music producing duo made up of Tim Benjamin Smulders (born 14 August 1985) and Jurre van Doeselaar (born 7 July 1987) that formed in Tilburg in 2008. They have gained fame through their dance floor hits like “Dear New York”, “Here We F*cking Go” and “Helicopter” on the EDM scene working alongside well-known acts like Calvin Harris, Tiësto and Martin Garrix.
Baramuda
A born perfectionist, driven to stay on top of everything and trying to make the best out of everything he does. The Housepital Head Honcho is taking giant steps in the biggest growing Electronic Dance Music Scene of this moment! With a born passion for the four to the floor beats playing at the biggest clubs around the world spreading his sound he can proudly say he is in love in what he does making people smile and forget about everything with the music!
For over 10 years Baramuda has been living the dream making and playing music for his fans. As the best DJ nominee in The Netherlands by SLAM FM in 2011 and signing record deals with Spinnin’ Records and many other large record companies he was giving international success. His creativity in the studio combined with energetic sets has resulted in pure love with the loyalty of the fans. Bingo players
Maarten Hoogstraten is a Dutch dance and electro house DJ and record producer. Bingo Players was originally a duo including Paul Bäumer (1976-2013). After the death of Bäumer, Hoogstraten announced that Bäumer had said to continue with the Bingo Players. They are best known for their hit songs “Cry (Just a Little)” and “Rattle”. Cry (Just a Little) was a Top 40 hit in the Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom, and other parts of Europe and Australia, in addition to an international club hit. Bingo Players were ranked number 52 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list for 2013.
Thomas Newson
19 year old Dutch wunderkind the Thomas Newson appears to be and living the dream.
