Hailing from NYC, DJ NIKA began frequenting the city house scene a few years back and soon took a turn towards production and promotion in various New York City nightclubs. It did not take long before he transitioned to DJing, influenced by the buzzing nightlife and music community around him and eventually taking the local club scene by storm, earning a great reputation for his charisma and energetic performances.
Highlights of his career include performing at the Webster Hall, New York’s Largest and longest running nightclub, playing the NYC Dance Parade in Manhattan, as well as sharing turntables with many of the best international DJs, including Pacha, Marquee, Le Souk and Greenhouse, just to name a few.

What was your first EDM track you have heard which made you fall in love with this genre?
Eric Prydz – Pjanoo
When did you first started with producing music?
In 2009 and my sound was more Techno – Tech house and time by time changed to EDM, Progressive House.
How did you came up with your DJ name?
My real name is Nikoloz, and Originally I’m from country Georgia and they call me there NIKA so I just keep same name.
Which DAW do you use and why?
I use PC sometimes Mac, With FL Studio latest version, Cubase and others…
What are your favorite plugins for synths, mastering and effects?
I like Serum, Sylenth1 and Predetor. Also T racks, Effectrix and more.
If you could do a collaboration with any artist out there, what would be your top 3 (and why)?
Ummet Ozcan (I like he’s style and genre)
Tiesto (He’s long time producer and it will be great experience for me)
Skrilex (I know its different genre but I think will be very interesting and something special : )
What do you usually drink when you are in the studio to get inspiration?
Long Island iced tea, red bull and coffey.
If you could travel the world as a DJ what would be the three items you will always bring with you in your bag?
Phone (For sure: ), Headphones and passport.
2017 is around the corner, what can we expect from you in the upcoming year?
I’m working on 3 new track and video clip. Soon I’ll start travel and DJing, Also in festivals.
