If you tuned in for shows like Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, The Secret World of Alex Mack and Aaahh!!! Real Monsters… prepare to feel old with this Nickelodeon news.

For the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards, Nickelodeon has added a new category for favorite DJ/EDM artist.

The nominations for the inaugural category are Martin Garrix, Calvin Harris, Major Lazer, Skrillex, DJ Snake and Zedd.

The Chainsmokers, meanwhile, are up for their first blimp awards, receiving a nomination for favorite music group along with Fifth Harmony, Maroon 5, OneRepublic, Pentatonix and Twenty One Pilots and a nomination for favorite new artist along with Kelsea Ballerini, Daya, Lukas Graham, Solange, Rae Sremmurd, Hailee Steinfeld and Twenty One Pilots.

“This has gotta be one of the coolest things ever!,” Alex Pall, one half of The Chainsmokers, recently told Billboard. “We grew up watching Nickelodeon religiously… Nick basically shaped who we are as goofballs, so to be nominated for favorite group and new artist is so cool. We may not be some boy band or whatever but it’s nice to know all the kids out there get down with us.”

Also new this year at the blimp- and slime-filled awards is the favorite music video category. Competing for this first-time blimp are Bruno Mars for “24K Magic,” Justin Timberlake for “Can’t Stop The Feeling!”, Beyoncé for “Formation,” Zay Hilfigerrr and Zayion McCall for “Juju On That Beat,” Meghan Trainor for “Me Too,” and Twenty One Pilots for “Stressed Out.”

Hosted by WWE star and actor John Cena, the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards will broadcast live on Nick at 8pm on Saturday, March 11.
