Fedde Le Grand Unveils Documentary for GRAND concept

For the first time fans of Fedde can follow the creation of the premiere edition of GRAND from its inception to the fall of the curtain on opening night. Documenting the auditions, radio appearances, rehearsals and more, viewers are taken on a 20 minute journey that follows Fedde and his team as they organize and integrate thirty Dutch show-ballerinas, live trapeze acts and a legion of break-dancers to form the extra special spectacle of the concert.

Preparations begin around a table as ideas and suggestions are bounced around the room by choreographers, creative designers, and representatives of RTL Live Entertainment. From fire breathers and contortionists to ballerinas and belly dancers, Fedde and his team do their best to sift through the huge amount of talent on offer.

Three weeks later and it’s opening night. Tensions are high and hours of sleep low, but the show is ready for its debut. After over a year in the making, weeks of rehearsals, and countless adjustments and fine-tuning, the curtain drops, and history is made…

In March 2016 GRAND will be taken to the 17,000-seat venue of the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam to make dance music history once again. Few can guess what Fedde has up his sleeve for these new performances but rest assured if the first time round was anything to go by, then we should be expecting another revolutionary take on the ordinary ‘DJ Set’.
